BFree Regional Sales Manager - Ireland and Scandinavia


BFree is a rapidly growing Irish owned international business that creates great tasting wheat and gluten free bakery products. It is expanding globally with significant business in Ireland, the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and Australia. The pace of growth is being driven by senior management, together with the sales and marketing functions, which now require a Regional Sales Manager to manage and develop our distribution in Ireland and Scandinavia. The individual will have outstanding track record in developing new and existing markets in the retail sector and have shown excellent results in developing and managing distributor relationships.


  • Responsible for the execution of promotional, NPD & trade marketing plans
  • Execute price increases in line with business requirements
  • Design incentive programs for field sales and distributor partners to deliver budget sales
  • Management of day to day customer and distributor relationships
  • Manage rolling forecast sheet to plan for stock needs, with constant interaction with supply chain team
  • Identify gaps and key product areas for BFree in the regions, to capture new business across both retail and foodservice
  • Provide direction for business model design for the regions, including price, placement and product strategies
  • Form a strong working relationship with our in-market sales partners to ensure continued targeting of valuable retail and foodservice accounts in key markets
  • Create and implement sales strategies to ensure company remains competitive and innovative
  • Accurately forecast future opportunities and form plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
  • Provide strategic insight to BFree management team to maximise profit


  • Candidate will have a primary degree level qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' overall experience; with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role working within FMCG in a direct to and distributor to retailer sales model
  • A driven individual who is adept at sales
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High degree of trend analysis, market monitoring and result tracking
  • Must be number-orientated individual with strong math skills and well-developed business senses
  • Experience with a similar category (Free From) or a strong food brand is preferable
  • Full clean drivers licence essential
