Free From Awards 2024 | Gold Winner

Ah, the sweet taste of victory.

We won the GOLD award at the Free From Food Awards 2024 in the Easter category for our Gluten-Free Cosy Spiced Carrot Cake! 🥇

Our product stands out with its impeccable presentation and delightful taste; however, don’t take our word for it. Here’s what the judges said:

The visual really differentiates these giving them a homemade appearance with an Italian-style wrapping. The icing is topped with orange marmalade strips which is a lovely detail. The sponge itself is very good; moist and with a nice nutty texture texture from the sunflower seeds. Not too sweet and an interesting flavour profile. A good list of ingredients – including lemon peel, marmalade and spices.”

Our carrot cake is one of four BFree sweet treats that launched in November 2023, in our first ever range of sweet products. Alongside our Sicilian Lemon Tartlets, Heavenly Chocolate Cake and Salted Caramel Brownies.

Crafted with quality ingredients, generous portions, and unparalleled taste, our Sweet Treats range caters specifically to those with dietary restrictions such as gluten, wheat, and dairy sensitivities, including individuals with coeliac disease. Ultimately, we aimed to provide a mouthwatering selection that satisfies every sweet tooth without compromising on flavour or quality.

But here’s the kicker – you wouldn’t even guess they’re Gluten Free! Our team took to the streets of London to prove it:

Treat your taste buds to an award-winning delight, that experts have deemed superior. If you’re in the UK, snatch it up online on Ocado currently on offer for £3. Or swing by Booths Stores where our entire sweet treat range has just launched! You deserve it. 💚
